About Us

Rutherford County Tourism Development Authority (TDA) is the Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) for Rutherford County, NC and was first authorized into creation by the 1991 North Carolina Senate. The TDA works with the business owners in the county to promote the growth of tourism to make Rutherford County a better place to live, work and play. By partnering with the County of Rutherford, projects like Keep Rutherford County Beautiful, Agritourism, Relocate to Rutherford, and Rutherford Bound are able to be funded.
